Visit Nishi Honganji, Kitano Tenmangu, Kinkakuji, imperial grounds, and Gion, with temple admission, water, and Japanese lunch included. Expect about 13 miles of mostly easy riding over 5 to 6 hours.

“This is a great way to see parts of the city that you might otherwise just not have time to see. It was great fun and we planned it on our first full day so we could cross a lot of sights off our list and know where else we would like to see the following days. Our guide was Julian, a fellow Brit but living in Japan for many years. He had great knowledge and was really easy going. Lunch was supposed to be at the noodle house but it was closed so we went to a sushi bar which was great fun! Definitely recommend it!”

“I highly recommend this tour. It was probably one of our most memorable moments in Kyoto. Hikari was our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the different temples, the organization of them and the history. The tour felt very calm and meditative just from her demeanor and voice. The best part of the tour was the one hour meditation. The monk who led the meditation only spoke Japanese, so Hikari prepped us before with what to expect. There was a brief break in the middle, and she also translated for us some of the additional tips and history he shared. At the end, the monk came over and spoke with…”
